HOW TO CONVERT USB FLASH DRIVE FROM FAT32 TO NTFS

You may try to copy some large files from system to the flash drive. But in that case it shows that "the file is too large for the destination file system" 
See for example:
if you want to copy a file that is more than 4GB,it just shows a warning below...stating that "file size>4GB...FAT32 error..."

Here what actually happened is the flash drive is formatted with FAT32 file system. If you take FAT32 it has some limitations.To overcome those limitations the USB must be converted from FAT32 to NTFS

To do so,

->Insert an empty flash drive in the system.Open My computer and right click,select  properties.
->Select hardware and choose device manager..  (or) if you are a windows 7 user,then from properties directly select device manager..

->From device manager select disk drives and choose the USB drive that is plugged in.
->on the USB drive right click and choose properties.Click on policies tab.

->There you will get two options quick removal and better performance.Select better performance and click OK.
->Now format your flash drive.Yearly it will be FAT32,now change it to NTFS.

->Select quick format and click OK.Now your flash drive is converted to NTFS and you can copy files that is larger than 4GB
