- First choose a folder that you wanna hide..Select the folder and right click on it.
- select properties and set the folder to hidden mode...
- Click tools in the toolbar menu..select folder options->view...
- You will be displayed a folder "hidden files and folders"...In that folder, click the radio button "do no show hidden files and folders".click OK...
- Now go to the command prompt window and "enter the drive in which the folder is stored and put a ':' " and then press enter...
- Now the drive name will get changed..to what you have entered..
- Do the following: ->"attrib +s +h +a folder name" ,then press enter.. ->your file will be super hided....
- Now if you again go to the properties->folder options->view..and change it to "show hidden files and folders"you will not get back the folder that was hidden.." This way of hiding the folder is known as 'super hide'....
- Now to get back your folder go to command prompt and do what you did before to hide..but "note" put '-' instead of '+' to get back the hidden folder.......
